About this site
Dungeon Settlers Help is an independent fan-made resource for Dungeon Settlers: calculators, planners and short guides for deciding what to do next.
What this is, and what it is not
This is not a wiki. Item and building databases for Dungeon Settlers already exist and are good at what they do; duplicating them would help nobody. What is missing is the layer above: tools that take your situation and turn it into a decision, and guides short enough to read while the game is paused.
Everything here runs in your browser. No account, no server-side storage, no upload of your saves — planner state lives in your browser’s local storage, and a share link carries the plan in the URL itself.
The data policy
Dungeon Settlers enters Early Access on September 4, 2026, and the demo that existed before it was removed because it no longer represented the release build. That makes pre-launch numbers unusually unreliable, so this site follows one rule: an exact game value is either verified, entered by you, or absent.
In practice that means no invented:
- item stats, damage figures or drop rates
- recipes, research costs or building costs
- food consumption rates or character stats
It is why the food calculator ships without a default consumption rate and why the production and research planners ship with empty libraries. A tool that asks for your number is more useful than one that quietly assumes a wrong one.
Verification badges
Version-sensitive pages carry a badge, the game version and the date it was last checked:
- VERIFIEDChecked against the current game build.
- PRE-EAVerified from official information before the September 4, 2026 Early Access launch.
- COMMUNITYReported by players and not yet independently confirmed.
- OUTDATEDChecked against an older build and awaiting a recheck.
Sources
Facts come from the game itself and from official material — the store page and the developer’s own announcements — and are written up here in this site’s own words. Competitor pages are not copied or reworded. Where something is a community report rather than a confirmed fact, it is labelled as one.
After launch
Once the Early Access build is out, values get checked against the live game and pages start carrying the version they were confirmed in. When a patch changes something, the affected data is marked outdated rather than silently edited, so you can tell whether a page has caught up with your build.
